With the introduction of
the Euro, Europe has become one economic space.
But it still lacks a forum for European public opinion
that transcends national boundaries.
COEUR took the initiative in 1999 to coordinate
the establishment of one such European forum through
a monthly commentary and feature interview service
for European newspapers.
European Viewpoint is co-edited by Juan Luis Cebrian,
the widely respected Spanish publisher and CEO of
El Pais, and Nathan Gardels, editor of the Global
Viewpoint service of the Los Angeles Times Syndicate.
